When the client invited me onto the project, it had already started. She told me she’d found a slab she liked, but there were some blemishes in it that needed to be cut out. When I saw the slabs, I convinced the client that we could use those blemishes to perfection as an accent, echoing the hills of Nevada County and Grass Valley. (These mountains match the cabinet color beautifully.) The bathroom of the master suite faced a private, lush, peaceful garden, so I suggested enlarging the window so one could experience it while soaking in the tub.
