Drug Store from 1880s

What a privilege to be invited to choose colors on Main Street in Nevada City and refresh the original drugstore there. The entry ceiling was all black, so we lightened it up and added a bit of terracotta red for the trim that blended with the original tile from the 1880s, plus a real painted-lady frieze on the exterior top. The drugstore is adjacent to the old hotel, which at the time was green — now beautifully renovated with fresh colors.
