This was an unusual homeowner — she is both an engineer (very organized!) and an artist. The house was new construction, and together we chose every hard surface, from countertops to floors to tiles, along with all the furniture and cabinets, including the “cherry on the cake” details: the fruit bowl, oriental area rugs, and light fixtures.
