This was an unusual homeowner. She is both an engineer (very organized!) and an artist. The house was a new construction, and together we chose every hard surface — from countertops, floors, and tiles to furniture, cabinets, and the cherries on the cake: fruit bowls, oriental area rugs, and light fixtures.
